A powder coating gun applies high voltage static to the solid powders, the powder particles are charged when exiting from the gun spray nozzle, and attracted to the positively charged workparts. The powder coating process should be done in a spray booth which captures excess powders during application and ensures a dust-free working environment, as well as recycling the overspray powders. The powder sprayed workparts will be heated in a curing oven with consistent high temperature (usually 180 degree), the powder coating layer will melt, foming a durable film as protection or decoration.
